We finally get some equality...

The long time PS3 haters, Valve, is actually making a game for the PS3 and *gasp* it is the same as the Xbox version. Definitely a defining moment in history!
"Valve’s Chet Faliszek has said that if you juxtapose the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Portal 2 you won't be able to tell the difference between the two.

Chatting with CVG, Faliszek assured gamers that both versions are “identical” in terms of look and in-game content - the PS3 version, however, will benefit from more frequent updates.

"If you bought the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and put them side by side you can see they're identical games. The actual content is the same too across all platforms," he commented.

"With the PS3 we can update more often, we don't have to have someone else gate that ability. We can play between the PC and PS3 players because we can update more frequently.

"That's our thing, we don't want to hurt [either PS3 and PC users playing cross-platform] and now that we can update more frequently it's easier for us to avoid that."

"Then we added things like chat between the platforms [and] Steam Cloud for the PS3," he added.

Faliszek also heaped praise on Sony for its continued support in the development of the prolific puzzler:

"Sony has been really great to work with; they've been really supportive and helpful for us to do this,” he said.

"So from that end as gamers we always look at what we would want and how we wanted it and on the PS3 we've been able to deliver a lot of the things we would like to see."
