"A Variety report’s claiming that Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a film adaptation of Quantic Dream thriller Heavy Rain.
The site further adds that the flick – apparently known as “Rain” – will be headed by David Milch (of NYPD Blue and Deadwood fame), who will begin cobbling together a script once work on the first season of Luck has wrapped.
No release date was given, though we’ll have more info as it breaks.
Heavy Rain released in February 2010 to critical and commercial success, with a Move-compatible version arriving later that year."

ReplyDeleteNice post and cool blog.
ReplyDeleteI reallly really wanted a PS3 because of this game, ugggggh I need to get around to getting one
ReplyDeleteIntriguing though I don't really see the point of adapting the game into a movie since it was already heavily cinematic. I'd say it'll take away from the whole experience since the viewers won't be able to make all the decisions the characters make thus removing the weight of all the consequences from them.
ReplyDeletethe game was pretty much a movie in itself lol

ReplyDeleteIs the game truly worth getting? I've considered it on several occassions at GameStop, but only reviews seem to lead both ways, and while a cheap game now, I'm not fully convinced, any help?
